We look forward to welcoming you to the annual meeting on May 16 in Malmö. The day will offer several interesting speakers and topics. Below is a selection:

Jeffrey Lewis

General Manager Sweden, ECT2

Jeffrey Lewis brings over 20 years of industry experience to the ECT2 team where he currently leads as Sweden General Manager. Prior to joining ECT2, Jeff has worked in various research and consulting roles for companies such as Tyréns and the Swedish Defence Research Agency, FOI. He is an expert in hydrogeological assessment, remediation strategies and specializes in groundwater contaminant transport. Jeff is past president of the Swedish branch of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and has served on the editorial board of Hydrogeology Journal. He is a member of the Swedish Geotechnical Society, and Naturvetarna, Swedish Association of Professional Scientists, is a Docent (Associate Professor) at the University of Gothenburg, and has authored over 20 consulting reports for the industry. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Royal Military College of Canada and earned his PhD in Earth Science from the University of Quebec.

Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim

Johannes is show director of Texcare International and portfolio manager for Messe Frankfurt's global textile care and food technology fairs. In his career spanning 20 years in the exhibition industry he has managed and overseen trade shows on six continents, but is still waiting for his first assignment to Antarctica.

The consulting company Ensucon is responsible for the authorization of our new members. At the annual meeting, Rickard Sallermo will talk about how it is possible to build a sustainable company and at the same time grow quickly (from three to 70 employees in five years) by focusing on the employees feeling well and having fun at work - or, in brief : not to do like the big consulting firms.

Smarter Laundry with AI & Robotics

Mads Andresen is the CEO and founder of the Danish engineering and machinery company Inwatec ApS. Since 2009, always having efficiency and ergonomics in the industrial laundry sector in mind, his vision is to eliminate as many tedious manual processes as possible. Starting out with mat-rollers, the company’s focus today lies on smart soiled side sorting solutions. In 2019 the company was awarded the “Odense Robotics Company of the Year” award, followed by steady growth. Today, more than ten years after founding the company, Andresen is continuously following his goal of “removing the dirty work” with his constantly growing team of so-called “Laundrynerds”. In October 2023, he also took on the role of Chief Innovation Officer at Inwatec’s partner, the JENSEN-GROUP.
