The economic situation and the government's priorities
Sweden's Minister for Financial Markets Niklas Wykman will speak about the current economic situation, key issues within his area of responsibility and the direction of the government's economic policy. With a doctorate in economics and a ministerial position since 2022, he provides an in-depth picture of the financial conditions and the reforms that are shaping Sweden's economic future.
International leadership in the industry exhibition and event industry
Fiera Milano and the Swedish Textile Service Association have started a new cooperation and ExpoDetergo will return this autumn. Driving force within Fiera Milano and Managing Director of Made Eventi is Paola Sarco, who represents one of Europe's leading players in industry exhibitions and congresses. Fiera Milano is known for arranging large international industry exhibitions in areas such as food, fashion, design and industry.
Sarco has a background in digital television and has built up a solid experience in event management and strategic development. Since 2018, she has held several key roles within the organization and is currently driving growth and innovation within the sector.
Stockholm on the world map
During the 1970s, 80s and 90s, former Social Democratic Finance City Councilor Mats Hulth was one of Stockholm's most influential municipal politicians. He played a central role in major investments, including the construction of the Avicii Arena (Globen). During the 1990s, he actively worked to strengthen Stockholm's international profile through the Water Festival, an Olympic campaign and the city's Capital of Culture year.
After his political career, Hulth was CEO of the industry organization Visita (formerly the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association) for eleven years, where he contributed to developing the hospitality industry – today one of the capital's most important industries.
Communication and sustainability in the textile industry
At Klopman, Rossella De Angelis has combined communication and sustainability work in a strategic role that strengthens the company's position within Corporate Social Responsibility. With a background in marketing, PR and event management, she drives the work of positioning the group as a leading player in sustainability in the textile industry.
Swedish business in global cooperation
Jan Larsson has been CEO of Business Sweden since 2021. With experience from McKinsey, Brunswick, Nordea and Handelsbanken, as well as as State Secretary in the Cabinet, he has a broad background in both business and the public sector. His work focuses on strengthening the international competitiveness of Swedish companies and attracting foreign investment to Sweden.
Practical integration into business
Carola Lemne was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Samhall at the Annual General Meeting in April 2025. She has a diverse experience from both the public and private sectors as well as academia, including as former CEO of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Danderyd Hospital and Praktikertjänst. She has also been a board member of Apoteket, Investor, AFA Försäkringar and the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation, among others.
The circular textile revolution
Several speakers represent companies driving the transition towards a circular textile industry. At Circulose, Pontus Håstlund is responsible for raw material sourcing and partnerships around the collection of cotton-rich textile waste. The company's material CIRCULOSE® enables the recycling of cellulose from end-of-life textiles and offers a sustainable alternative to virgin raw materials.
Andreas Dorner, of RE&UP Recycling Technologies, is also a strong voice in the European transition towards textile-to-textile recycling. He works to build scalable supply chains and navigate the EU's new regulatory requirements, with the goal of making circularity commercially viable at scale.
School cooperation with the business community
Rickard Vinde, a teacher at Solna Gymnasium in law, business administration and criminology, reflects on the importance of cooperation between schools and the business community. By building bridges between education and the labor market, young people can gain a better understanding of the needs of companies and the skills requirements of the future. Vinde is also the recipient of the Textile Service Industry Sustainability Award 2026.

Peter Havéus is a role model for several generations in the laundry and textile service industry. Peter's efforts have contributed to strengthening the industry's credibility and position on sustainability issues, all based on a genuine commitment to the industry's development and future.
