The board of the Swedish Textile Service Association appointed Peter Havéus as an honorary member at its February meeting.

Peter Havéus is a role model for several generations in the laundry and textile service industry. After growing up in the family business Pär Textilservice, which his grandfather founded, Peter began a long career in the textile service industry both in Sweden and internationally in leading roles within Tvättman, Servitex, Sophus Berendsen and later Davis Service Group (Berendsen Plc). He has, among other things, been CEO of Berendsen in both Sweden and Denmark, CEO of the Continental Region with responsibility for operations in large parts of Europe and CEO of the Workwear business area within Berendsen Plc, with operations in 15 countries. Peter has now returned to entrepreneurship and currently runs a business in the laundry and rental of entrance mats in Spain.

Peter has demonstrated strong business acumen, the ability to drive change and a clear focus on quality and sustainability. In addition to his operational skills, Peter Havéus has been a clear advocate for innovation and sustainable development. Already 30 years ago, he worked actively with circular business models, resource efficiency and environmental work, including through cooperations with Det Naturliga Steget and projects for reduced energy and water consumption. His efforts have contributed to strengthening the industry's credibility and position on sustainability issues. Peter has a genuine commitment to the development and future of the industry.

– In light of his significant contributions and importance to the industry, we now welcome Peter Havéus to the illustrious group of honorary members of the Swedish Textile Service Association, says Michael Sandin, chairman of the Swedish Textile Service Association.
