Susanne Beskow and Caroline von Post
Susanne and Caroline are the founders of Beskow von Post, a company with a vision to transform the industry into a resource, even in the second and third tier. Today, only 1% of used textiles are recovered for the next life. Beskow von Post wants to change that. They have developed a process that makes it possible to scale up the recycling of textiles on an industrial scale! They have made circular uniforms for Hr Björkmans Entrémattor and the National Museum and are now collaborating with the City of Stockholm and Elis Textilservice in a key project, Meal Shawls, which will replace disposable bibs.
Beskow von Post received the Swedish Textile Service Association's Sustainability Award 2024 with the motivation "The Sustainability Award of the Year in the Textile Service Industry goes to entrepreneurs Susanne Beskow and Caroline von Post who, through their activities, create new life for worn-out textiles."
Both are senior experts in textiles and recycling, Susanne started her business, van Deurs, back in 1992 and has since worked with her own collections, designing other people's garments and uniforms. Caroline is a biologist and worked as an environmental consultant before converting leftover textiles from laundries and starting Stormie Poodle.

Andreas Dorner is a strong leader in the global transition towards a circular textile economy. As a key figure at RE&UP Recycling Technologies, Andreas has been a driving force since the company's inception in 2023, masterminding the “Zero to Scale” journey that has helped redefine how the industry approaches textiletotextile recovery. A fierce advocate for commercializing circularity, he doesn't just talk about closing the loop but builds the supply chain frameworks to make it real.
Based at the heart of the action in Europe, Andreas is a prominent voice in navigating the EU's transformative legislative landscape. From the ESPR and CEA to mandatory EPR schemes, he translates complex policy into actionable industrial strategy. By bridging the gap between high-tech recycling innovation and high-level stakeholder engagement, he is helping ensure that the future of European fashion is built on recovered, high-quality feedstock rather than virgin materials.
